A captivating and sensual blend of mandarin rind and crimson rhubarb intertwined with sheer flowers and wrapped in a sultry base of smoked vanilla bean, cedarwood, warm patchouli and white musk.

It’s the perfect blend of smoked vanilla, rich woods, patchouli and musk with a harmonious amount of floral and rhubarb to provide some surprising complexity. This isn’t a pure vanilla (Asian Garden fits a woodsy vanilla a bit better) but if you want a sultry, seductive midnight vanilla blend - you’ll want to check this one out.

Top: Mandarin Rind, Crimson Rhubarb

Heart: Sheer Flowers

Base: Smoked Vanilla Bean, Cedar, Warm Patchouli, White Musk

Smells Kind of Smokey

Again, I didn't want to low ball the rating on this because scents are a very personal thing. This just wasn't a favorite of mine. It was a little more smokey and woody than anything else and because of that I just couldn't get past it. I don't pick up any of the fruit notes. Just the smoke, cedarwood and patchouli. Definitely reminds me of fall and a campfire.

Warm, ever so slightly spiced vanilla.

Wow! This one is a great blender. I have tried it alone in my fragrance base at both 10% and 5% and personally prefer the softer version. I have mixed this one with white rabbit and absolutely loved it! The bit of spice plays well with the sandalwood of white rabbit.

I do not know how you do it, but this smells SO good. Elegant but playful, sweet but sparkling... When I initially opened the bottle it smelled like cereal, elevated. Wow. I wanted to get lost in that play of citrus and vanilla, so I popped it in PA at 15% and it was delightful. The rhubarb gives it a bit of attitude to start, while the citrus feels like a youthful throwback, and then it just settles into a gorgeous vanilla muskiness. I'm not much of a patchouli fan, but I love Simbi's musk bases, so when this dries down, it's still magic.
