How Long Will Shipping Take?

Once an order is placed, orders will ship out within 1-5 business days with most orders shipping out next business day. This excludes weekends and holidays. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking email.

Please be aware that USPS/UPS is unable to guarantee transit times when there are weather delays.

Is International Shipping Available?

It is! Simbi ships to over 30 countries. Makers located outside of the United States are responsible for shipping as well as any duties, taxes and fees associated with their order. We cannot charge this upfront as each country has their own rules and regulations - especially based on order size. Please consult with your local government websites if you have any questions on what these fees may include.

All SIMBI Fragrances are made in the United States and under a NAFTA agreement, they're duty free in Canada when you use Shippsy as your broker. You can learn more on their website.

Why Is My Fragrance Bottle Not Full?

As our labels state, our bottles are filled by weight, not volume. Fragrance oils vary in density. That means that some are thicker or thinner than others. When we fill our bottles, they are carefully weighed according to the label. This ensures you're getting the exact amount of fragrance oil regardless of how thick or thin it is. Some bottles will look fuller than others but once weighed on a scale they will have similar weights.

Do You Test Your Fragrance Oils or Products on Animals?

At Simbi Fragrance, we take animal cruelty seriously. All Simbi Fragrance employees are vegans for ethical reasons and we take careful and mindful steps to ensure our products have animal safety in mind. None of our finished products, including fragrance oils, are tested on animals by us or our suppliers.

Do You Use Phthalates In Your Fragrance Oils?

All Simbi Fragrances are Phthalate-free.

Does My Fragrance Oil Smell The Same Out of Bottle As It Will In Its Final Form?

Our fragrance oils are highly concentrated. Because of this, the way the fragrances smell out of bottle (OOB) is not always a clear reflection of how the fragrances actually smell when used at the correct usage rates. Blotters, salt testers and diffusers can be a great way to understand your fragrance before creating testers of them. We highly recommend waiting to form an opinion on your fragrance oils until they're used and cured in their intended form.

How Long Will A Fragrance Oil Last?

The average shelf life of Simbi Fragrance oils is around one year. That number is dependent on time, temperature, and exposure to air and light. For best results, we suggest purchasing only enough fragrance oil that you will use within one year.

For best results, we recommend you store fragrance oils in a cool, dark place away from light and heat. In case you need to let the oils sit for a longer period of time, we recommend testing each fragrance before making a large batch.

How Much Fragrance Oil Should I Add to My Melted Wax?

Simbi Fragrance oils are concentrated for use at 6% or 1 oz per pound of wax. This amount can be adjusted up or down depending on the type of wax you're using as well as personal preference. Due to how concentrated our oils are, some fragrance notes may reveal themselves more clearly in lower percentages. Higher fragrance loads does not always equal better hot throw. Always pay attention to the maximum amount of fragrance oil recommended in the properties section of each type of wax. Adding too much fragrance oil can not only cause wicking issues and poor CT/HT, but it can also cause your wax to 'sweat' or not fully harden.

If a scent is strong or almost overwhelming to you OOB feel free to start with a lower percentage than fragrances that are enjoyable as-is OOB. Most makers use between 6-9% fragrance oil in wax.
