Sesame oil and rosemary leaves muddled with basil-infused sunflower oil and served above a bright burst of verbena. It’s earthy, it’s green, and it smells like you’re walking through an herb garden in a celebrity's Martha's Vineyard retreat, ready to sit down for a five course farm-to-table meal as their guest of honor.

If you’re looking for a unique scent that’s heavy on oil and verbena with an assortment of muddled green herbs in the background, this one is for you.

Top Notes: Buttery Basil Leaf, Rose Stems, Bergamot

Heart Notes: Fresh Verbena, Lily of the Valley, Lemongrass, Rosemary Leaf

I bought this because I really wanted a STRONG basil leaf scent for a garden collection, and at the time I purchased, I remember seeing a post from the Facebook group about this being a more oil-heavy scent.
Despite that, and because of the reviews here and the general caliber of products from Simbi, I bought this one and remember being very confused about this aroma when I blotted it. It was TOTALLY oil-heavy. To the point that I couldn't really smell anything fresh or green about it.
BUT... holy moly did that scent stay with me. That heavy sesame oil smell HAUNTED me. And after going back to the bottle again and again to blot it and smell it did I finally realize that the oil smelled so *heavy* to me because it felt like it carried macerated basil leaves. Like that gorgeous green oil had seeped out of chopped basil into rich sesame oil, ready to make a pesto.
I've mixed this with chunky salt to put in warmers, and I'm fully in love with it. It somehow smells CLEANER after warming. It loses the heaviness and becomes a rich, spa-fresh scent.

I used this one in perfumer's alcohol at 15% with a little bit of added vitamin E oil for retention, and it is heavenly! I'd have never expected to use it in such an application but saw it being recommended it the Facebook group several times and had to try. It's light and airy and oh-so-beautiful. Perfect for summer! Next to try it in some soap and room sprays :)

I love this fragrance in my CP soap and will be adding it to my core line. It's relaxing, luxurious and very spa like with a lot of complexity. The scent retention is great and it did not accelerate.

Interesting notes but was hoping for more basil

This one did not do it for me. Like all sent be fragrances, quality is there. I didn't like the blend but that shouldn't stop you from trying it out. Wanted more green notes
