After Hour

After Hour has been one of my favorite scent ever since its namesake was released. Honestly, straight out of the bottle, it didn't smell anything like the original, but once in a candle, it matches it perfectly. I do not get the shampoo scent that some other reviewers mentioned. For me, the most prominent notes are rum and plum, with a hint of dark patchouli that adds depth and richness. I used it in coco apricot wax at 10%, and both the CT/HT are a perfect 10/10. This fragrance oil captures the essence of its namesake beautifully, making it an excellent choice.
I also used in emulsified body lotion at 1% with same great results.

Leather and... SHAMPOO

Ok, I laughed when I saw the review below mine, because I also expected to love this based on the description and scent notes, but when I put it in my hanging diffuser to test, I felt like I was smelling an odd mix of leather and shampoo. When I came to review and saw the most recent review said they were reminded of shampoo, I laughed and also felt more secure in knowing that I wasn't alone in that assessment.
That said... while this didn't work so well as a diffuser (I don't think it's quite the right scent for room/space scenting), it is really beautiful as a linen spray or clothes-based perfume.
I put 20% in PA and spritzed it on my sweater after a few days macerating, and it was really lovely. The leather note gave it longevity, and the shampoo factor made it smell sweet and fresh. The rum aroma started coming through a little more as my sweater and scent warmed with my body heat, but I liked it better on the fabric than on my skin. Love it as a linen/fabric refresher, though.

I thought I would love this one based off of the scent notes, but it wasn’t a personal favorite. It did perform well in coconut soy wax. For some reason it reminded me of shampoo.

Sexy cowboy

I named this scent Cowboy Confessions in my line bc it reminds me of being in a cowboy bar lol. Amazing performance 8% in tw30. 5/5 ct and ht. Radiated throughout the room evenly. Rum was actually the strongest note I got
