Coastal Serenity is aquatic in the gentlest way. The refreshing mist from a fountain carried on warm air, carrying with it a soft, white floral whisper blooms from lotus floating on water’s surface, touched with the sweet brightness of narcissus and the creamy, languid richness of orchid. All are grounded by smooth sandalwood planks and serene musks that settle around you like a deep breath. This is a quiet exhale in fragrance oil form.

Top: Watery Breeze, Japanese Ginger, Thailand Sweet Basil

Heart: Narcissus Petals, Orchid Milk, White Lotus

Amazing & Addicting White Floral Milkiness

Wow. Just wow. For starters, as other reviewers have mentioned, you can't judge this one by smelling it out of the bottle. This needs room to breathe for it to truly blossom.

I tried this in a few applications, so here's how it's been going for me:

Melt & Pour Soap: I used 2% and this has turned into the most amazing, upscale floral milk aroma. Lotus is one of my favorite smells of all time, and this perfectly captures a lotus filled body of water in an upscale indoor/outdoor 5-star spa. Even though I only used 2%, you can still smell this on your hands after you wash, making it smell like you used scented hand cream. I sold out of the two loafs I made same day, and this helped me land a wholesale spa client.

Body Wash: Oh my goodness. There are quite a few scents I adore in body wash, but this one and Late Checkout are my two all-time favorites. I prefer using this in the shower and then I also use this in my lotion after the shower. Together, the scent lingers 12+ hours on my skin and I get compliments frequently.

Candles: This surprised me. I use coconut apricot wax and I wasn't sure how it would go. I originally added 8% to my wax, but then I decided to add 2% more and make it a full 10% blend while it was still in the pitcher. The smell of this was so strong in the best way, that it not only filled up my room but it lingered for days after. I think what's tricky about this, is it's strong, but not in a cinnamon or eucalyptus sharp way that's overwhelming and you need to open a window. This is strong in a completely different way, like being on a school bus full of people wearing sunscreen. In a way that sunscreen is strong, instantly fills your nose and is recognizable in a milky/tropical way, this is similar but if instead of a coconut sunscreen, it was a beautiful white lotus tropical aroma.

Perfume: I used 35% and this has sold out for me in my last two events. This and Late Checkout sell just as well for me as White Tea & Thyme room sprays, which I never thought I'd have something sell as well as that.

If you're looking for a milky, creamy, white floral laconic aroma that makes you feel like you're at a Four Seasons-type resort, please don't sleep on this. Just make sure you actually PLAY with this and don't just smell it out the bottle.

Struggling to get HT

I love this scent out of the bottle but when tested with an 8% fragrance load I am struggling with CT & HT. Still a lovely scent but not my favorite of the collection.

Fresh and airy

Don’t judge strength of this one OOB. It really comes to life when heated. To my nose it slightly reminds me of a light Surf Camp. It’s very airy and aquatic. It is so refreshing and soft and beautiful. I wanted to use this in a room spray and I did test it, but the IFRA is just too low to be impactful in spray, but in an oil warmer it is absolutely beautiful! It filled my house and my teenager said it is one of his favorite scents I have ever warmed.

Perfect summer scent

It reminds me of a high end gift store at the more upscale beaches. It took me back to the days when we would be at the beach house for a month and we would frequent the smaller shops. As soon as I opened the bottle it was like being transported there.

CP Soap

Coastal Serenity: Tested at 5%. This one turned my batter milky upon contact and started to move fairly quickly. I didn't notice full blown ricing, but a light graininess that did stir out rather easily by hand. It remained at a medium trace 20 minutes later, so definitely is more than manageable. I highly recommend warming your fragrance up a little bit before adding it to your batch, and that should help keep the ricing and acceleration at bay even more. Mine has discolored to an ivory with a slight pinkish tint so far, and has a lighter retention that's very fresh with a whisper of soft florals. I expect it to blossom even more as it cures! It's the first soap in the photo.
