Old-Fashioned Gingerbread™

Ok, so there's standard gingerbread fragrances and then there's Simbi's. If you want a dollar store gingerbread or cheap candle scent, this won't be what you're looking for.

However, if you want an authentic, gorgeous gingerbread aroma that's used at magical resorts, and that smells exactly like fresh gingerbread made from the most upscale bakery known to man, then this is it. It's gingerbread served at the highest quality. It's warm, inviting, cozy, and just the perfect balance of everything.

I adore this in room sprays, diffusers, and candles. It's gorgeous, and when used (not judged out of bottle but actually in product) it feels like the happiest Christmas Eve in your childhood when life was simple, you felt loved, and you just felt cozy in the living room watching classic holiday films with your family.

I got this one in a holiday blind buy sale and LOVE it. This one would be amazing in wax and soap. I need to test in my m+p base and my c55 wax for melts. I tested this in my room and body base at 1% and it throws so nicely! Spiced and sweetened gingerbread. A holiday classic for all.

I found this one a little too spice-heavy. I used 5% with chunky salt in a warmer, and wished there was more of a cookie or pastry note. It's a strong hot throw, so will be trying this at half the rate mixed with cookies for Santa.

Very different from other gingerbread fragrance oils I've smelled. This gives cozy, home sweet home or welcome home vibes. It's spice forward, but balanced with hints of molasses, vanilla, rum and almond notes. I feel like this could definitely be used as a year round home-y scent.

7% FO load in coconut soy wax blend. CT 9/10. HT 9/10. Gets stronger the longer it cures.

I received five different scents in the Haul-Day Mystery Gift Bag, and Old Fashioned Gingerbread was one of them. Out of the bottle, it smelled amazing—rich, warm, and comforting. I recently tested it at 8% fragrance load in IGI 6006 wax using a 2.95" vessel with a 51-32-18 wick, and it did not disappoint. The scent is incredibly inviting and perfect for the holiday season. It’s already earned a spot in my holiday candle line, and I’ll definitely be ordering more soon!
