The Full Experience

I'm obsessed with this one. I saw two reviews that mention how they smell this as a ginger forward scent, but I'm assuming that's because ginger is very potent top note and if you judge this only out of bottle, I can see how that happens because ginger will hit your nose first. Get this in product before judging!

In product, this smells like a grown up sleep over and it's just so fun and nostalgic. To me, anytime there's ginger, bergamot and grapefruit together, I get associations of fruit loops, and I'm sure that's part of the sleepover part especially with the oak milk added.

On top of that, it's so much more. The raspberry macaroons are gorgeous and reveal themselves in soy wax really well, and also in perfume in perfumers alcohol. The floral is stunning, and I say that as someone who doesn't like rose, it's almost more of a sugar coated rose, and the yuzu tea, lemon tea, and lavender bitters just really elevate this.

There's a LOT going on with this one. Have fun. It's like Alice & Wonderland and you just keep having new experiences. Just wait to judge it until it's actually in product!

I really had high hopes for this as I LOVE macarons, citrus, tea, and Simbi's florals. But this one was very ginger heavy for me, even after it had time to breathe. I used it at 5% in chunky salts for warming, but once the ginger hit, I couldn't find my way out of it, and that's really more just because I am more sensitive to ginger aromatics in general. I can see how it livens up the other notes and even provides warmth and grounding, but this one was just a miss for my personal tastes. I will say that the hot throw was excellent, and the spices and florals came through more after warming.

Edited to add:
I found that blending with Cookies for Santa helped tone down the ginger and bumped up the bakery notes. Since this one was quite strong for me, I dropped Slumber Party to 1% and added Cookies for Santa at 4%. In general, for my salt blends I'll start with 5% unless the scent is extremely strong out of the bottle, in which case I'll drop the rate to 4%, and if scents are milder or more airy, I'll bump up to 6 or 7%, sometimes even 8, though that's rarely the need with Simbi scents. This blend was much more enjoyable for me, and a teaspoon size of salts lasted for an hour before the scent diminished.

Yummy!

This one did not disappoint! I have used it in CP Soap and Lotion and it is def a 10/10! Smells very classy and sophisticated. I see reviews that it is great in wax too, so I cannot wait to try it in my wax melts! Way to go Simbi! Another home run!

Perfect Throw & Energizing Scent

OOB this FO initially smelled much creamier than Silk Pajamas (one of my fave candles), then it was smelled quite zingy. However, in wax, this scent is glorious. Not only is it accurate, its also very strong in both CT and HT in Coco 83. The ginger and bergamot play off each other beautifully. A perfect 10/10 for me.

It's Ginger

Maybe it's just me since everyone else loves it, but I only smell ginger. I keep coming back to it hoping it smells different, but it's still the same. If you're looking for a ginger candle, or something spa-like, it's not bad. But if you're looking for macarons and fruit, it's a huge waste of money. I normally don't even review stuff, but since the photo in the listing is misleading, I thought it might help.
