Tulum Margarita

Out of bottle it definitely smells just like a margarita! Lime, citrus, agave and tequila are front and center, but then on the dry down (on a blotter strip), the base notes subtly make their appearance! It transports you to a night out at an outdoor beach bar with beautiful fresh waxed wooden tables and chairs, enjoying a margarita, surrounded by palm trees and the ocean not far off from you! The base notes is what sets this scent apart! I have not made anything with this scent alone but have mixed it with pomegranate cider and another scent to make a northern lights inspired candle and sold very well! I will use this scent alone in my limited edition summer edit next year though because it is too good not to!

I got this one from a destash and judged it OOB, then I got another bottle from a mystery bag purchase. I regret getting rid of my last bottle. What was I thinking. I used this in waxmelts, using C55 at 10% FL, curing for minimum of one week. The throw is really good, and the scent is so refreshing. Definitely a "chill" scent on a hot summer day.

I truly believe that this is one of the most-slept on fragrances from Simbi. Formerly known as Mexico Pavilion, I still don't think the name does it justice. It's a fabulously bright and energetic scent that really lifts your spirits. I used it in cold process soap at 5% and it gave me no issues whatsoever. The batter was quite smooth, the retention in the cured bars is fabulous, and there's no noticeable discoloration. Give this one a try!

First time ordering from Simbi. I wasn’t quite sure when I opened the bottle but when it cured in my seda wax, it smells soooo good! Like a real margarita. I called it the Perfect Margarita because that is what it is!!
