Chocolate Brownie Batter

I received this as one of my mystery bag scents and I'm so happy it was included. I'd never pick a chocolate scent on its own, simply because I gravitate to other scents. That said, this is simply PERFECTION and completely had me rethink the concept of chocolate in candles.

It smells like brownies are just starting to bake in the oven, so it's still very much a molten chocolate, but it's dense, and gourmand. You get the warm brown sugar, you get the creamy laconic oat milk and melted butter, and there's this gorgeous bourbon vanilla that elevates it to a point that feels out of my price range.

It's complex yet nostalgic, chocolate yet so much more. I used this at 9% in 494 tart wax, and I'm already burning it a day later. I consider this one quite strong in the realm of Simbi's other gourmands. It might do best in soy wax or maybe it's something that needs to be wick adjusted for others to get maximum throw, but in tarts this THROWS.

Gorgeous. This is a lighter scent but it blends so well with coffee scents and sells great in winter!

I love all things SIMBI so I was so excited to try one of their gourmands and this was the only oil I was kinda disappointed with. I make soy wax candles and tried to use this on its own but i could barely smell it. OOB it's so good tho! I usually use 8% but even at 10% it is weak and blended it with another chocolate scent just to use it. I just wish it was stronger. Most of my simbi oils are strong, I really hope they can improve this because it's gonna be so good then.
