*received as part of a mystery bag purchase*
I don't get any forest vibes from this one - not sure if it's because I got a variant version in my mystery bag. I mostly get a powdery scent note that I can't quite place.
I used this at 10% in FCO with my diffuser beads, and while it's a strong scent, I can't really detect any of the scent notes listed. It's mostly a powdery, musty smell, almost patchouli-like.

Edited to add:
Since I've ended up enjoying some Simbi scents better in a warm medium than cold, I decided to try this one with chunky salts. I started at 4% since it's a strong scent, and my hunch was right - I got some more of the middle notes, and suspect the powdery tones may have been the floral and rosewood influence in cold throw. The scent is still powdery, to my nose, rather than woodsy or foresty, but that is of course, subjective. I used the salts in a 500 sqft room with high ceilings and had great scent throw for just under an hour, using a teaspoon of salt.
I tried increasing to 6% in the next test to see if I could get more of the mid and base notes to come forward, but didn't find a difference in the notes or longevity, though the throw was initially much stronger - comparatively I'd say the 6% was 10/10 HT vs 8/10 for 4%.

Wowww, just wowww

This FO is amazing. I poured this into a candle using my olive oil wax at 8%, and LX wicks and this once candle has filled the lower half of my house, and my house has vaulted high ceilings.
This is such a unique scent that I could see being popular all throughout the year but more so in the fall. Love it!!

Captivating and One-of-a-Kind

This is the first Simbi scent I tested in a candle—and it hooked me instantly, like the little minx it is! I’m working on a Louisiana Folklore Collection, and this fragrance earned the honor of being the very first to launch. It’s bold, complex, and completely unique—I haven’t smelled anything else like it. The throw is incredible (it performs like a beast!) and fills the room effortlessly. I used 8% fragrance load in IGI 6006 wax with a 3" vessel, and it burned beautifully. This scent will absolutely be a staple in my line.

CP Soap

I tested this fragrance at 5% in cold process soap. It decelerated trace for me, and stayed quite thin and fluid for a while. 3 days in, it has discolored to a walnut brown color, and has an excellent scent retention!
