Late Checkout (New)

The description of this fragrance promoting this as a sexy man fresh out of the shower wrapped in a towel and intimacy in the afternoon...I wasn't sure how to interpret that but holy cow...THIS IS EXACTLY THAT.

Late Checkout, like quite a few of the Simbi Fragrances, is an evolving fragrance. What that means, is instead of linear scent that smells the same when you first put it on a blotter to 1, 2, or 3 days later, this scent adjusts and reveals new facets of itself after 30 minutes, a few hours and a few days. Every time I smell this, I feel like I'm opening up a new page of a book and picking up where the story left off. It's incredible.

You definitely get the Damp Shower Air, Italian Bergamot, Afternoon Breeze for the first 30 minutes but then the Violet Leaves, Nutmeg, Cashmere and Wet Stone come through. There's a hint of the base notes that are Ambergris, Black Ebony Wood, Sensual Musk, Golden Amber from the get-go, but they really transform and become commanding a few hours into the wear.

In candles, the CT is more bergamot and cashmere with wet stone forward, but once you burn it the black ebony wood, musk and ambergris really steal the show. I found that 8% in coconut apricot wax gave me the strongest results at 10/10 CT/HT.

I also used this as a laundry dryer ball liquid, and this scent lingers on towels without fading. I've since re-washed some towels with no scent at all added, and I can STILL smell this. It's the scent that doesn't quit.

If you want a really beautiful, sexy man by the ocean at a 5-star resort scent this is it. Use at lower FO amounts for more of the aquatic side to come forward, and higher amounts for the masculine notes to be more prominent. You have control over the finished scent with this one, it's up to you to see what you do with it.

I am really impressed by this scent. Although it is a bit masculine for me personally, I believe it will do well since it has such a wonderful HT!

I love this fragrance and it has amazing hot throw and cold throw with hemp coconut wax. If you are looking for a new fragrance that fits your spring and summer line this would be a very good one, all simbi fragrances have a complex richness about them that you just dont see much of in this industry and they never disappoint

Late checkout makes the most wonderful intoxicating perfume. It starts off with notes of bergamot, and then after a while you start smelling a mineral sea breeze, and after that it turns into warm amber. Plus many other glorious notes along the way. This is one of my favorite Simbi fragrances. It is clean, sexy, and spa-like.

This one is addictive and sexy and masculine and clean. It is subtle, yet commanding. It smells like a clean beachy man to me. I used this to make a cologne (25% with perfumers alcohol) and after only 2 weeks macerating it is already perfect. I could see this being unisex, but it is masculine perfection to my nose!
