There's a reason this has ONLY 5-star reviews!

I used to HATE lavender, when I worked only with essential oils. It gave me horrible headaches and the smell would linger long after I'd left them behind. It took me a very long time to try them in fragrance form after I started working with fragrance oils, and I have to say that Simbi's version is fantastic if you're not a fan of traditional lavender. This one especially is great for perfumes, because of the interplay with the moonflower and white musk.
I started this one at 5% in PA, since lavender can be strong, but found it opened up differently in PA than on the blotter, and upped it to 10% because of how the moonflower came through. To my nose, the moonflower was the opener - I couldn't smell the lavender until the perfume dried down, and the lavender was softened by a cushion of white musk. The vetiver adds an earthiness that grounded the sweetness of the moonflower.
I do wish this one was higher IFRA for diffusers, because this would be so fantastic for room scenting.

I have sat on this oil for awhile. Finally used it in c55 wax melts and room spray ! This is the lavender scent I can get behind. There is something romantic about this scent. The lavender is not overpowering to my nose and smells amazing. Def need to order a bigger bottle.

A classic!

I will always have this on hand! Everything I’ve made with it is phenomenal. I use in a body spray at 5% and an Epsom salt soap at 1%. Even with a low usage rate, it’s still potent in a good way! This is not your grandma’s lavender.

If you're looking for an herbal lavender, then look no further! It behaves very nicely in cold process soap at the 1.29% max, no ricing, acceleration, seizing, etc. I do wish the IFRA would allow for a higher use rate, but the scent retention is still there post cure, albeit a bit on the lighter side.

Absolutely Beautiful

When I started my candle making journey a year ago, this was one of the first lavenders that I tried and loved. (I have never been a lavender fan, but this is gorgeous). The name is perfect: it isn’t a plain ‘just real lavender’ scent, it’s a hazy, soft, lovely version (like the song). It’s like a whisper, but with good hot throw. Not overly strong in scent or HT in candles.
