Perfection

Checkmate is an incredibly interesting scent. It's tobacco-forward with a subtle hint of bourbon, creating a rich and provocative aroma. This scent transports me to a room where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is penning one of his captivating Sherlock Holmes stories, surrounded by the smoke from his pipe and the comforting presence of a neat whiskey. I used it in coco apricot wax at an 8%, and both CT/HT are a perfect 10/10. If you enjoy smoky, heavy scents, this one is definitely for you. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a deep and intriguing fragrance experience!

Perfect Fall Scent

This is the perfect example of why oob judgements aren't the same as blotting or putting it in product.
Oob, I put the cap back on and put it last in my lineup for testing.
...And then I tested it. It immediately shot up to my favorite Simbi scents (Favorite Cardigan, and Guest House, FYI).
This is like the epitome of fall aromas. I don't know so much about the other scent notes, but I definitely get the maple, but also leaves and spice and a touch of smokiness, and also a bit of fresh-cut grass.

I put a couple drops straight into my ceramic wax warmer and enjoyed the scent for the rest of the day. The scent didn't change at all for me when warmed, but the throw was exceptional. This would do great in wax for fall-themed scents, I think.

I was not a fan of this scent. I tested in parasoy melts, ht 6/10. It just wasn’t a scent I enjoyed

I didn't know what to expect with CheckMate. OOB I Still wasn't sure. After putting it in wax and lighting it, I enjoy it.
