Black Tea & Vices™

I personally find this fragrance fascinating. Used at 5% in a test batch of cold process soap, it behaved well, with an eventual sandy/light beige discoloring. The scent comes through light to medium for me but definitely sticks in the soap for months.

I have not been as excited to test a fragrance as this one in a very long time. I scoured a number of sites trying to find a fragrance that could represent the Boston tavern-type fragrance I was wanting to incorporate into our America 250 collection. I promise, angels began singing when I found this beauty. This fragrance is everything I hoped it would be. I wouldn't call it a light fragrance, but it's not as heavy a fragrance as some others I own. The fragrance has enough depth to create a deep atmosphere without dragging down the senses - hope that makes sense to someone. The notes come through and meld into this warm, inviting fragrance that embodies the rough worn tables and perspectives of a historic Boston tavern back when revolution was being plotted. The men really enjoy this fragrance and women either adore it or purchase it for their male others. I'm the type of chandler that tries to link mood with fragrance notes, vibe, and tumbler to tell a story and this fragrance helped to curate a collection worthy of the intent and historical notes I was going for. This fragrance tells a story in addition to setting a mood.

I use this fragrance in my main line items. It's so popular in room spray! I also use it in soap, and it performs beautifully. No ricing or acceleration.

This is subtle scent but very frageant. I layered with patchouli and other scents to create a yummy treat.
