This one has something in it OOB I do not like. I don't know what it is, but I almost just closed the bottle and put it away. HOWEVER, I know better than that with SIMBI. I've never been to the Polynesian Resort, so I can't compare, but performance in my wax melts was 5/5. C55 at 10% load. Whatever that top note is OOB that my nose doesn't like, quickly disappears while melting and transforms into tropical paradise. It's a keeper.

The Polynesian In a Bottle!

WOW, just one sniff and you are instantly transported to the lobby of the Polynesian Resort! It’s the perfect scent for any product from candles to body! It’s balanced without being over floral, and has been an immediate hit with all of my customers so far! Hands down has been a hit in Room & Linen sprays as well as perfume rollers!

Polynesian indeed!

Wow! It smells exactly like the lobby of The Polynesian Resort. I found myself sniffing it so much OOB that I made myself a batch of perfume (30%FO) and lotion (10%FO). Smells soo good! Definitely vacation vibes!

Paradise

I sadly haven't had an opportunity to go back to Disney - first and last time I went was when I was about 6 years old, so the memories are faded...
And I haven't been to the hotel that inspired this, so I truly have no idea what the original smells like...
But this scent is BEAUTIFUL. I blotted this and immediately had to put it in perfume testers. I did 20% in both fc oil and PA, and actually preferred the PA version for this one a bit more. It opened up the different notes a little more than the FC oil, which felt a little more muted.
I expected this one to be straight tropics and flowers, not looking at the scent notes on this one before I tested it, and the spice notes completely surprised me. They added a warm complexity that tied the heat of the tropics to the lighter, sweeter noes. On the skin, this completely evolved into a spiced-musk aroma that definitely sets it apart from other tropical perfumes I offer. Love love love this one for perfumes.

Ohana nostalgia

We had dinner at the Polynesian in WDW a few months ago and this smell brought me back to the lobby. I have so many friends who have requested this scent and it’s a dream come true to have hands on it! Very refreshing scent. I personally use it for soywax candles and the throws are excellent. This will surely be a regular in my line.
