Heart: Sea Salt, Coastal Sagewort, Seaweed
Base: Sun-Bleached Driftwood, Sea Fennel, Coastal Musk

This is a Simbi original fragrance. By purchasing this scent you're supporting a small, independent fragrance house.

NOTE: We've added significant ozone-forward top notes from the sea mist and sea foam that overtake the fragrance at first causing it to smell light. That's because you're smelling 'atmosphere' before the rest of the notes present themselves. This is intentional.

Please put this on a blotter, in a diffuser, or in product prior to judging, because it takes time and a dry down for all the notes to truly present themselves. This scent gets stronger and more grounded the longer it sits, starting around five to ten minutes in.

Acuatic with woody dry down

I got Surf Camp in the most recent mystery scent packages. I make room and body sprays and tested this one in my base at 10%. Just like the description says, the first few minutes are really atmospheric and are extremely ozone forward. It’s like a gust of wind blown surf. There is the fresh air element, the bit of brine in the middle with ocean water, and after the ozone burns off, it’s an quadriceps driftwood scent. I haven’t tested yet in my m+p bae but I bet it would make a wonderful soap. I did mix some into a salt soak and my feet loved it! Don’t be afraid to use this oil as a blender. I mixed it with Coco Beach and it balances the coconut in Coco Beach quite nicely.

Ok, I'm obsessed

When I 1st smelled this OOB, I was disappointed. I knew to put it on a blotter like they said- still, disappointed. The fennel note was the more prominent, even after several days.
When I came back to it a few days later, it had changed. The fennel mellowed out a lot! I started detecting the other notes, and they were just intoxicating!

I used it at 3% in cold process Himalayan sea salt soap. I used spirulina to color, which turned it a beautiful green. Unfortunately, light bleaches out the green pigment, so the color changed more brown, but not because of the fragrance discoloring. It didn't rice or accelerate, and the scent? Amazing after cure. It smells JUST LIKE the real life ocean. Seaweed-y, airy, Salty. It's GORGEOUS and I'm obsessed!!!!

CP Soap

This one behaved well in cold process, I didn't have any issues with acceleration or ricing or discoloration anything at 5%. But let's talk about the scent! It's pure, salty, ocean air in a bottle! How do you even do that? Love it!

True Beach scent

I don’t know how Simbi captured it, but it’s spot-on true beach scent. It’s the fragrance of ocean breeze as the waves crash onto the sand. Perfection!

Great blend for my upscale beach candle

I blend this with another from the collection. This is more subtle in the blend but it definitely adds a "beach" feel. It is perfect. I presently mix 50/50. Used in OO wax at 8%.
