Cherry Wood Smoke™

As with so many other Simbi scents, this one is STRONG.
I blended this one with chunky salt for a warmer at 5% and it was fantastic. I will say that the cherry notes became more prominent when warming, which I found a little overwhelming, but the tobacco notes also came through better once warmed, and mixed with the soft florals and spice, it was SO cozy.

This smoky number is so perfect for a winter collection scent. I blended with Pine and fell in LOVE.

Throws at 8% in CAC.

I use this as a blender. I made a candle using Coco83 at 7% for a 30/70 blend, and the throw was out of this world. Absolutely gorgeous. It adds the perfect amount of smoke without being overpowering, which is why I used the 30/70 blend and not 50/50. When I tried 50/50, the smoke took over the other fragrance and it just wasn't what I was going for.

I tested this fragrance in a small batch of cold process soap at a 5% use rate. This one accelerated fairly quickly, but I was able to get it into my mold smoothly by moving fast. It turned green in my batter, then yellow, finally discoloring to biscotti tan color 3 days in. It does have a great scent retention so far!

Although this scent doesn't fit with my candle brand, I was so intrigued by the scent notes. I'm not a cherry fan but I am a smoke fan and I have to say, this combo is so unique- beautiful throw, gender neutral, high-end scent profile. It's going in my personal collection but if it works for your brand- I would recommend it.
