Soaping Notes: Soaped via CP using the minimum FO percentage. There was no ricing nor acceleration and there was endless time for swirls. This turns yellow immediately and eventually settles at a deep orange with brown hints. Scent retention is strong.
Candle Notes: This fragrance oil contains certain aroma chemicals that naturally exist in crystal form rather than as liquids. Because of this, it performs best when added to wax at a slightly higher pouring temperature. For optimal candle performance, we also recommend using a fragrance load of 7–8% and/or increasing your wick size, as higher fragrance loads may contribute to wick clogging and reduce scent throw.

The oil smells great oob but I can’t smell it in a candle, sadly.
Pineapple Treat™
I used to use another vendors version of dole whip. I’m glad I got this one in a blind buy set. It’s wonderful and also domestic which goes a long way these days! I tested at 10% in my room and body base and it is such a beautiful balance between the sweet and tart aspects of pineapple. I use it in a blend with a floral and can’t wait to see how it stands up to my old oil. In my current blend I use 7% total concentration with the pineapple note at 5% of my total recipe. I started a little higher because fruit scents can be lighter and have less longevity, but in this case the longevity is great. I will be adjusting my next text back down to 5% for my blend since the pineapple isn’t the main star of the scent, it’s more of a modifier. Either way, this is my new pineapple of choice in any blend. I will be putting in soap, body lotion and likely wax melts too.
Smells exactly like dole whip! The sweet pineapple and cream notes are outstanding. Amazing in both wax melts at 10% and 3% in sugar scrubs!
I received this fragrance in one of my holiday (or trick or treat) mystery gift bags, so it wasn't one I personally chose. It's a delectable pineapple fragrance that is elevated in a creamy way where it isn't cloyingly sweet. I don't often go for pineapple scents as a few from other suppliers give me headaches, but this one didn't. It was absolutely delectable in some lotions I made with my daughter for a school project (we used it at 2% and that was plenty! There was no separation or discoloration)! Highly recommend this one, it really is treat.
