Great scent!

Bought this to make cold process soap for a family trip to Disney. It smells just like my sister’s favorite ride! The scent really seems to be sticking well. It did seem to slow down trace, so it took a while to be able to pour layers. Would be good for more intricate swirls.

Smells EXACTLY like driving by an orange grove…nice, strong, and perfectly orangey! This is the most realistic orange I’ve found…smells delicious!!

Not what I was expecting

It’s a good, strong scent, but it smells nothing like an orange grove. It smells way more like grapefruit. It would work for me in a blend, but not on its own. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. This is why I don’t tend to try many new scents. It’s too expensive to end up disappointed.

I’m sorry to hear you’re not enjoying Orange Groves at the moment. Is there a chance you’re judging this out of the bottle instead of on a blotter strip or in a finished product? I ask because this scent is over 80% Florida Orange Oil and another 10%+ Orange Essence Oil. This is very pure, straight forward orange oil - which is also why it’s very strong out of bottle.

Given the isn’t a synthetic representation of orange, but an actual orange essence blend, it will be quite strong out of bottle, but the orange essence of this, will come through on a blotter or in product where the essence oil can have space to breathe and the aroma can truly bloom.

We recommend putting this on a blotter and revisiting this after 10 minutes, or using 4% in wax to have a scent you’re likely looking for with a pure orange aroma.

Holy oranges!

I'm surprised at how much this fragrance oil resembles the scent of a real orange! However, it's important to be cautious about how much you use. I initially used 9% and it resulted in a lighter fluid smell, which can sometimes happen with citrus fragrances. Eventually, I used 7% in coconut apricot wax and the scent had a strong throw of 10/10 and smelled wonderful.
