Apple & Ancient Oak™

I received this fragrance in one of the mystery samplers I ordered half a year ago or so. This isn't a scent I would've purchased on its own, and I was surprised by how much I loved it! I've only used it in lotions so far (I make my base from scratch, and had no issues with the fragrance discoloring or separating in it at 2%), but I will surely be getting more for some soaps closer to fall. It's a fabulous scent that would work across multiple applications! Highly recommend!

I was so pleased with how this one performed in my testing. It was super easy to wick at my normal 8% in hemp coco soy wax. HT was perfect! I’ll definitely be using this in my fall collection. It’s not just your basic apple and the oak notes really come through in the HT.

OOB this fragrance literally punches you in the nose with apple. Not a bad thing at all. It smells exactly like an apple. Probably the most true apple scent I have ever smelled.

OOB, it was very strong and smelled like watermelon bubblegum. BUT!!! Once in wax and lit in a candle, the notes are beautiful. Cozy apples with a woody undertone. An upscale apple scent for sure !

I finally put this in coco 83 and some soy wax. It’s delicious and throws 9/10. But I don’t get the sour or tart notes of apple at all, and definitely not woodsy. This actually smells like the perfectly ephemeral, not too sweet, fruity or floral notes of a cherry blossom tree. In fact I went and put on my baccarat rouge perfume because it felt similar. Maybe my nose is off, but it’s a beautiful scent. Just not hardy enough for fall.
