Years ago I studied aromatherapy and carrot seed oil was initially not a fan of carrot seed oil. Not sure which switch turned on but it became my favorite essential oil. I had not seen carrot seed oil used in fragrance oils from many other companies and I was stoked to find it paired with linden blossoms of all things at Simbi. I bought a 16oz right away and was thrilled when I received it. Definitely has a slightly earthy accord in part due to the carrot seed oil, but it's not heavy like vetiver or a strong patchouli earthy. The earthiness is balanced with the brightness of the carrot seed (variable element). The notes work to create a bright note layered into softly deepening layers that never muddy and somehow remain cozy yet not heavy. Can absolutely be used all year in both body products and home fragrance. Started with 7.5% and will increase until I find the sweet spot for the candles. Highly recommend if you want something different, yet absolutely stunning. Already made it into a lotion and have requests for more.

This is so complex and nice, and comforting. Sometimes when I smell it, it smells woody, then there's like an appl-y note sometimes, other times I get this pretty perfume note. I definitely pick up on the carrot seed, leather and cardamom as it's drying down. The cardamom is especially strong which I love. This doesn't smell cinnamon-y to me, which I like. I love me some cinnamon, but usually scents that are cinnamon and clove forward scream Fall. This scent is not specific to any season, at least not on a blotter strip. It's unique and it smells really good, I can't wait to put it in a room spray.

I seen guest house pop up on my Instagram wall , the name and notes grabbed me so I had to have it , told my sweet friend Grace , and made her purchase before k did ! Omg !! This scent even my husband has fallen in love with !! The scent is so well suited for my line ! I can’t wait to try others !!

I love this scent. Currently in batch for testing in candles. So far the cold throw is beautiful. I love that this is versatile, meaning I can use this as a blender or stand alone and it just works.

Oh my gosh, I just made a room spray out of Guest House and I am in *love* with the nuanced notes of this scent! Would 100% include this in my professional lines!!!
