Saffron Black Tea

Both out of the bottle and on a blotter, Saffron Black Tea smells like the most gorgeous jasmine pearl green tea. It's misleading. Give this scent somewhere to play, whether it be on skin, in wax, or in soap, and this fragrance transforms to reveal a darker side that's deeper and far more mysterious. 

When Saffron Black Tea fully blooms, it becomes unlike anything we've personally encountered in either the fragrance oil or perfume space. The profile is unfamiliar enough to make you pause, then return for another smell. First out of curiosity. Then, hopefully, out of adoration.

The black tea is a freshly steeped black tea, perfectly soothing with a damp nose feel. You can smell as the tea feels like it's done steeping, as there's a slight metallic edge this blend is flirting with, carefully avoiding becoming over-steeped. The saffron is earthy and elegant, giving the impression of rich dried fruits, and a deep animalic honey. What could be quite dark and heavy is perfectly brightened by the osmanthus, jasmine sambac and the perfect amount of pink lotus which softens the saffron and provides a really gorgeous lift. On the dry-down, the saffron and black tea continue to linger, with the rosewood, buddha wood and labdanum welcoming a final chapter of the scent's profile, as it turns more moody, resinous, and addicting. This scent is extremely long lasting and lingers months on a blotter.
