Fresh Linen

*received as part of a mystery bag purchase*
I have fragrance oils from several companies with the name "Fresh Linen" and similar scent notes. To be honest, out of the bottle, this one smelled exactly the same. But on a blotter, there was a slight difference. This one was missing the cloying note that I associate with dryer sheets.
I used this at 5% in PA for a light room spray, but of course, being a Simbi scent, it's still very strong. For that alone, I like it better than the same fragrance I've purchased from other suppliers.

Out of bottle it smells like the typical fresh laundry scent with hints of bergamot but on a blotter strip it smells like warm sunlit linen. I have not smelled this scent alone in a candle but I have blended with southern dewberry and it just smells like the most luxe linen ever especially the HT! I cannot say for fresh linen by its self but as for fresh linen/southern dewberry blend it's a 8/10 HT and 9/10 CT at 7% FO. I definitely need to go up to 8-9% FO to get a stronger HT.

I tested this fragrance at a 5% use rate in cold process soap. This one did accelerate a little bit. It remained smooth & fluid while pouring, but after sitting was definitely a bit thicker than my unscented control. 3 days in, it has a fabulous scent retention and no noticeable discoloration.

This scent smells true to its name. It throws wonderfully in a linen spray and the scent lingers in fabrics. I also love to mix with Southern Dewberry to elevate it a little (2.5% of each in a linen spray is perfect!)
